Mentoring leaders
CMAI builds individuals who are technically competent, spiritually vibrant, and socially relevant, in fellowship with one another and with Christian perspective on health and development. For this, we conduct professional training programmes, need-based short-term workshops, conducts retreats, seminars and conferences, and mentor individuals through personal interactions.


Health & Development
In a society that is rapidly moving towards individualism, CMAI’s mission institutions continue to be the flag-bearers of affordable, ethical, relevant and compassionate care, especially to the disadvantaged. We strengthen them though vision-building, organisational development, and capacity-building in clinical, nursing, diagnostic, management and community services.

Policy Advocacy

As a voice of Christian healthcare in India, at regional, national and international forums, CMAI seeks to influence perspectives, policies and practices of government and civil society on issues of health and social justice. Special focus areas include female foeticide, palliative care, and access to medicines.


Dialogue with the church on health, healing and wholeness

As the official agency of the NCCI, CMAI works with churches of all denominations. It works with church health boards, pastors and congregations to take up the cause of marginalized.


Supporting new health and development initiatives

CMAI has a record of encouraging and initiating new strategies and concepts in health and development. We have pioneered several large scale capacity-building projects.

Dissemination of information

CMAI gathers and disseminate information through different media to inform, empower and knit together communities and groups. CMAI captures experiences, shares perspectives and enhances the skills and knowledge of its large network both nationally and international through publications, books, brochures, videos and CDs.
