Palliative Care

Given the fact that very few health institutions have involved in caring for the terminally ill, CMAI has given significant priority to palliative care. Special efforts are taken to sensitise more and more institutions to initiate the work and to get more people trained in palliative care.

CMAI has just launched a one-year Fellowship in Palliative Medicine in collaboration with Institute of Palliative Medicine, Calicut for medical graduates.
