Interesting Historical fact : Started from a kitchen cabinet of Mrs. Gwyneth Crofts for those who came seeking for her help in 1947, it later functioned from a one roomed structure which was managed by Joyce McDonald, a trained nurse. When 8000 patients came in a year, the need for a larger dispensary was felt and in 1956 a bigger building was constructed with the labour of the local people and a substantial donation from Unley Park Baptist Church, Adelaide, South Australia. In 1958 Dr. Joan Webster from Brisbane, Australia, responded to the invitation of the Australian Baptist Missionary.​

Hospital Achievements: In the last five years we have been able to upgrade our services that include – ICU, New Operation Theater, Computerized Hospital System, and automated lab along with Digital X-Ray. ​
