Role Summary
The Trainer-cum-Coordinator will be responsible for setting up and managing healthcare skill development courses at the CMAI Training & Research Institute for Health Sciences. This includes establishing infrastructure (laboratories, skill lab, smart classrooms), coordinating with the Tamil Nadu Apex Skill Development Centre for Healthcare (TNASDC) or Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC), delivering quality training, and ensuring student placement.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and operationalize training infrastructure (labs, classrooms, equipment).
- Coordinate with TNASDC/HSSC and other healthcare partners for approvals, compliance, and program execution.
- Deliver and supervise training programs as per TNASDC/HSSC standards.
- Handling the online application process and uploading the required documents.
- Drive student enrolment online and offline, retention, and placement.
- Ensure quality monitoring, reporting, and documentation.
- Introduce innovations in teaching, including use of digital tools and smart classrooms.
- Any other work assigned by the AHP Section secretary regarding training or any project.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum BSc Nursing with 3 Years or GNM Nursing with 4 years teaching experience
- Experience in training, skill development, or healthcare education.
- Familiarity with skill development frameworks (HSSC, TNASDC) preferred.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
